What is meant by the terms: Automatic, Quartz, and a sweeping second hand?
Automatic refers to a watch movement that consists of a self-winding mechanism, which allows the watch to run on its own without batteries.The advantage to this is that batteries are not required for the watch to run.The disadvantage is that the watch should be serviced every few years to make sure it runs smoothly.
Quartz refers to a watch movement that runs from a battery.The advantage of this is that the watch normally lasts longer than automatic ones.The disadvantage is that the battery has to be changed very often.
A sweeping second hand refers to a second hand that sweeps smoothly instead of ticking once every second. Basically,its movement consists of a bunch of very tiny, rapid ticks that combined to make it look like the hand is sweeping smoothly.All automatic watches have a sweeping second hand, and all quartz watches have a ticking second hand.

Why does my automatic replica stop ticking and losing time?
When you first receive your automatic replica,you must give the watch an initial pre-wind (see instruction pamphlet).If you wear it everyday,it will continue to wind itself on your wrist when you move around and walk.If you stop wearing it for more than approximately 2 days,the watch will need to be reset,but will then automatically wind itself once you start wearing it again.The disadvantage is pretty clear.Your watch does not keep time if you do not wear it constantly.The advantages are that you will never have to replace a battery,the watch keeps great time when it is running, and most of all,this type of movement is exactly what the originals use!If your Automatic is losing or gaining time in a 24-hour period the watch needs to be adjusted.All of our automatics have an adjustment screw on the movement just like the originals.Any local jeweler can service these watches.

How do i set my Watch once i have received it?
Once you have received your Watch,please do follow the following instructions to set your Watch: Turn the Screw until it is been pulled off the First level,Turn the Screw 35-40 Times (approximately 3-5 minutes) upwards,the Sound that you would hear would be a rough noise,if you hear a smooth noise then you are doing it wrong,this process is called the Pre-wind process which should be carried out on almost a daily basis on all automatic watches so that it helps you keep your time

What are chronographs?
Chronographs are the little dials that are within the face of the watch itself.They are usually in three and used as stopwatch timers.The chronographs on our watches are always fully functional.
